The most important legislation governing trademarks in China comprises the Trademark Law (enacted in 1982 and last revised in 2001) and the Regulations for the Implementation of the Trademark Law (2002). In addition, various other laws and regulations govern trademark-related issues, which – together with the various relevant judicial interpretations issued by the Supreme Court – form the integrated part of the Chinese trademark-related legislation.
