The year 2007 was the year of intellectual property in China. The trademark-related legislation in force in mainland China includes, among others, the Law of the People’s Republic of China against Unfair Competition (1993); the Trademark Law of the People’s Republic of China (2001); and the Regulations for the Implementation of the Trademark Law of the People’s Republic of China (2002).
