Cuba passes new law to comply with TRIPs

Cuba has passed a new trademark law as a result of its accession to
the World Trade Organization and to comply with the TRIPs requirements. The
new law includes a broadened definition of 'trademark', new filing and appeal
procedures, and improved protection against infringement.
