Are you in Atlanta? Come and meet the WTR, IAM and Docket Navigator team
WTR has arrived in Atlanta for the 2024 INTA Annual Meeting. If you are in town, visit us at Booth 554 in the Innovation Marketplace to hear about our unique tools and essential content plans for WTR and our sister platforms Docket Navigator and IAM.
Over the past year, WTR has continued to present the data and analysis that truly matters to brand professionals. Among other things, we have conducted ongoing investigations into suspicious low-cost filing platforms targeting applicants in the United States and broke the news of major raids at premises owned by Chinese shipping agent Pandabuy – a story that was subsequently picked up by mainstream media outlets.
Our Special Reports series has focused on topics including:
- the future of brand protection on social media;
- disruption in the IP industry;
- brand protection in the fashion and luxury space; and
- how to navigate the evolving landscape in Asia-Pacific.
Elsewhere, our Data Hub continues to present critical insight into:
- emerging trademark filing trends;
- online and offline counterfeit hotspots that need policing; and
- the latest IP office tools and services available to users.
We have also launched a new resource, exploring the most effective strategies for brand protection at borders and ports of entry in countries around the globe.
Turning to the professional landscape, the WTR 1000 has further solidified its position as the leading guide to the world’s top trademark professionals. Meanwhile, the WTR 300 shines a spotlight on exceptional corporate leaders.
The team at Booth 554 will be on hand to talk you through all of these offerings and demo our company's other IP-focused platforms:
- IAM – the complete global platform for IP value creation; and
- Docket Navigator – the leading US litigation analytics platform covering patents, trademarks, copyright, trade secrets and antitrust.
As well as offering essential US libraries focused on trademark litigation data from the US district courts and the TTAB, Docket Navigator and IAM recently launched a Unified Patent Court library, which allows users to efficiently access proceedings, gain competitive intelligence and stay updated on the latest trends at the world’s newest major IP court.
Visit Stand 554 to learn more about all of these offerings – and more.
Away from the booth, WTR editor Victoria Arnold-Rees and reporter Louise Newstead will be posting regular updates from this year’s INTA Annual Meeting on the WTR platform.
Managing editor Trevor Little will also be participating in two sessions.
- On Sunday at 10:45 Trevor will be moderating a session titled ‘The New Frontier in Trademark Licensing – The Use of Brands in Video Games’, featuring panellists from Allen Overy Shearman Sterling, Polaris and Tencent.
- On Monday at 13:00, Trevor moves from moderator to speaker, to give a capsule keynote titled ‘Unlocking IP: How to Frame Communication with Non-IP Stakeholders, Customers (and the Clients of Tomorrow!)’ In this session, 2023 INTA president Jomarie Fredericks will interview members of her presidential taskforce – including Kevin Kirkpatrick of Metropolitan Group and Susan Natland of Knobbe Martens – about the work that they have undertaken, with insights on how to engage non-IP stakeholders on IP issues.
The WTR, Docket Navigator and IAM team looks forward to seeing you in The Big Peach.
