The Italian regulations governing the protection of industrial property rights were consolidated into the Industrial Property Code (Law Decree 30/2005), which also brought together and revised the regulations on trademarks already contained in the Trademark Law (Royal Decree 929/1942 and subsequent modifications thereto).
