Many in the legal profession have attempted to avoid the virtual world. After all, busy lawyers have little free time to spend on non-work, ‘first life’ activities, let alone virtual ‘Second Life’ ones. However, both legal and news texts constantly talk about metaverses, virtual space and virtual environments, such as Second Life.
