Lucas graduated in Law from the University of Alicante in 2014. He earned an LLM in IP and competition law from the University of Valencia in 2015, and a master’s degree in IT Law from the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF) in 2017. He is a Spanish patent and trademark attorney, registered before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office since 2019.
As for his career, in 2015 Lucas started working in an IP law firm in Alicante as an attorney. He then joined the operations department of the European Union Intellectual Property Office until 2017. After a short time at the legal unit of the Community Plant Variety Office in France, Lucas joined Ballester IP.
Since 2018, Lucas has regularly contributed to in INTA committees and participated as a speaker in forums, seminars and conferences on intellectual property. He also co-chairs the Intangible Asset Valuation Committee of LES Spain–Portugal.
